Iditaroder George Traecy of the Pacific Northwest, Washington state,
George Traecy, who started as an accountant. First during the 1920's  in Nome Alaska. He would first get a disease called diphtheria in Alaska, where later the diphtheria disease would then spread to Eskimo Villagers. The Iditarod. My great Grandfather would later return to Nome Alaska after being treated and cured and would run diphtheria serum in the old Nome, Alaska dog sledding to the nearby Eskimo Villagers.
Later during the Iditarod run of Diphtheria serum, in the harsh northern Alaska conditions, he would then pass away, due to the harsh weather conditions. And is laid-to-rest at the University Of Washington, here in Seattle Washington, in the Calvary Grave Site. The Iditarod. email us @
